Congratulations to everyone on our first Majordomo Staghelm kill! Thanks to Jam for buying a new mic so the new strategy could easily be shared with us. This does mean we're 6/7 in Firelands. That's progression! This kill shot and all the others are on the

With our recent kills over the last few weeks, we're solidly more than halfway through Firelands. Big congratulations for each new kill, especially the Alysrazor kill last week. It was beautiful, everything just clicked; everyone survived the tornado tango and our first kill was nice and clean. Great job everyone! The individual kill shots for each boss are up in the
Cataclysm Progression Thread on the forums if you'd like to see them.
We'll be starting work on Majordomo Staghelm this week so don't forget to read up on the strategy in the
Firelands thread on the forums. And we've brought back and adjusted the raid rotation so please check the
new schedule on the forums, especially the schedule for
August.

We got a lot of great work done last week!
After a night and a half of wipes we finally killed Nefarian for the first time! Everyone did a great job learning, adapting, and persisting through the encounter. It was a satisfying kill. The next night we walked in and took down Al'Akir for the first time in under an hour of attempts.

Big congratulations to everyone on our first Cho'gall kill this week! With that we've killed all of the bosses in Bastion of Twilight and we're a third of the way to our Dark Pheonix mounts. And I won't forget to mention that after weeks of trouble with lag we killed Atramedes! Great work this week everyone! As the guild message of the day says you are all AWESOMESAUCE.

A short lapse between updates is now being rectified.
Ainokea has now killed 7 of the available 12 bosses adding Conclave of Wind, Halfus Wyrmbreaker, Chimaeron, and Valiona & Theralion to our list. It is nice that Blizzard gave us options so that we aren't continually working on the same boss week after week. We were so close to a Ascendant Council kill; it is surely in our near future.

We're back everyone!
Just about one year after the guild first started raiding during the Wrath expansion we've wrapped up our first week of raiding in the Cataclysm expansion. It feels good to be back. We started in Blackwing Descent and have downed Magmaw, the Omnotron Defense System, and Maloriak in our first week. Atramedes and Chimaeron are close to meeting their demise, I can feel it.

I know everyone's really excited for all the new stuff! But should you get disconnected or stuck in a queue, here's a short video to say good bye to Wrath of the Lich King. They were good times.

The first steps toward Cataclysm starts tomorrow when Patch 4.0.1 goes live on the servers. There are a lot of things changing including class skills, talent trees, the glyph system, and the raid ID system. Here are some referances:
We are going to try (add-ons providing) to raid on our regularly scheduled nights this week. If everyone is still adjusting to their new skills we may alter our plans for new Heroic attempts but I think getting in a full clear this week will be good for our consistency.

I know it's definitely not the hardest Heroic mode but we did it and that should be acknowledged. I don't have a screenshot of it so here's another one from last week's Lich King kill featuring a few of us, Tirion, and cake.

The night didn't really start out promising. Bryce was sick and couldn't make it. Dan's availability as a substitute was unknown. Mend had to leave earlier than usual. And we found out the night before that Dave may not be able to raid with us anymore... =(
But after a few attempts, in a culmination of our 10 raids together, we smacked Arthas into the floor! So congratulations to everyone!
